About This Role
This Mobile Developer role involves developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android, supporting the company's products and services. The person will be part of the R&D team and will focus on digital solutions connected to physical devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, back-end, product)
- Integrate apps with APIs, IoT systems, and back-end platforms
- Ensure application performance, stability, and security
- Debug, test, and release on app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play)
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in industrial contexts
- Experience in mobile development (Android and/or iOS)
- Knowledge of at least one of: Swift/Objective-C (iOS), Kotlin/Java (Android)
- Familiarity with mobile SDKs and UI/UX development
- Experience with REST API integration
- Knowledge of versioning (Git)
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail, with particular attention to code writing and technical documentation
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other company functions
- Results-oriented
- Technological curiosity and learning agility
- Good knowledge of English, necessary for collaborating with international teams and for technical documentation
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods
Nice to have:
- Experience or knowledge of embedded systems/firmware
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, CAN, etc.)
- Experience in industrial contexts (e.g., elevators, automation, IoT)
- Previous experience in end-to-end web application development, with the ability to independently work on both business logic (backend) and user interface (frontend)
