Millwright

About This Role

This role involves installing, servicing, and repairing conveyor belts and components, motors, and industrial equipment for various industrial job sites. The Millwright will perform field service visits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal equipment performance, working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment
• Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks
• Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide quality service
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service schedules and tasks
• Operate a company vehicle
• Comply with the Employee Handbook

Requirements

• MSHA Surface and/or Underground Miner Qualification preferred
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to ASGCO
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
• Ability to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications; successfully complete industry approved training courses (job duties will be performed underground and on surface)
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires
• Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
