Keeping the mill running, fixing breakdowns, and maintaining machinery to prevent future issues are the main responsibilities of a millwright. This role also involves working on larger projects such as repairing and maintaining cylinders, belts, conveyors, chains, motors, and valves, as well as fabricating new equipment.
