About the role
Collaborate with development and security teams to understand security requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Develop, execute, and document test plans for security-related features (e.g., authentication, encryption, access control). Support simulation of security attack scenarios using tools (can be trained after onboarding). Participate in analyzing logs, system behavior, and responses during test execution. Contribute to integration testing with third-party stakeholders. Stay updated on basic cybersecurity concepts (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.). Write clear and concise reports on test results and observed vulnerabilities. Share knowledge and assist in onboarding new members regarding cybersecurity testing (after gaining experience).

3+ year of experience in QA / software testing (manual testing). Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and test case design. Basic knowledge of networking or operating systems (Windows/Linux) is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Willingness to learn about cybersecurity concepts and practices. Able to communicate in English (reading/writing; speaking is a plus). Nice to Have: Exposure to security testing tools or interest in learning them (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Wireshark). Experience in automation frameworks (Selenium, Postman, etc.). Cybersecurity certifications (OSCP, CEH, GPEN) are a plus but not required. Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, or log analysis is a bonus.
