About the role
Thomas Jefferson Middle School is looking for a dedicated middle school Math Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements:
- FLDOE Certification in Math 6-12 OR Middle Grades Math 5-9 required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Starting instructional pay is $50,450 per year, plus there is a pay supplement for an advanced degree.
Please note salary is based on verifiable years of experience as per District guidelines.

Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement. The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacher with 19+ years experience, that's approximately an additional $8,110 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts.
