About the role
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• Validate and test microservices-based applications using API testing tools.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of Postgres databases to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers, and QA teams to deliver production-ready software solutions.
• Lead code reviews and enforce adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Enhance testing frameworks and automation scripts for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Monitor application performance and recommend optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging testing trends and implement improvements within the engineering team.
QUALIFICATION
• B.Tech or M.Tech
EXPERIENCE
• 6+ years experience in Postgres and API testing.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of Postgres and API testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Postman or SoapUI for testing APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Core Competencies:
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver under minimal supervision and take ownership of test modules.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
Good to Have:
• Certifications in relevant areas, such as AWS or database management.
• Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
