Meta Ads Specialist (Part-Time) for NZ Lead Generation Company
About Us We run a fast-growing pay-per-lead business in New Zealand selling exclusive, SMS-verified mortgage refinance leads to mortgage brokers. We spend $10-15k NZD per month on Meta ads across two funnels and are launching a second vertical (insurance) soon. Small team, founder-led, we move fast.
The role
You will manage the technical side of our Meta ad accounts. The founder handles all creative and UGC production. You handle setup, monitoring and optimisation.
Responsibilities Daily account checks with a short numbers report (spend, CPL, verified lead volume)
Weekly optimisation pass following our documented rules
Building new campaigns and ad sets, including our insurance vertical launch
Uploading creative we supply and building ad variants
Audience, placement and pixel/event housekeeping
Working within Meta's Financial Products and Services Special Ad Category
How we run ads (you must be comfortable with this):
No mid-flight edits to live campaigns
Scale by duplication or budget increases under 20%
The metric is cost per VERIFIED lead, not raw CPL. Cheap leads that fail verification are worthless to us
Requirements 2+ years hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience with lead gen campaigns
Experience with Special Ad Categories (finance, housing or employment)
Strong written English for daily reporting
Available for a short daily check 7 days/week (30-45 min), flexible on timing
Reliable internet and own computer
Nice to have
Experience with NZ, AU, UK or US finance/mortgage clients
Familiarity with lead quality feedback loops (CRM data informing ad decisions)
