Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded AM Law 50 law firm seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney 3rd–7th Year to join its Palo Alto, CA office.
This role offers the opportunity to build deeper M&A experience within a sophisticated corporate platform. The associate will support complex transactions, develop drafting and deal-management skills, and take on increasing responsibility across the transaction lifecycle.

The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of the practice, including:
- Draft and negotiate principal and ancillary M&A transaction documents.
- Conduct and coordinate transaction due diligence.
- Support transaction structuring and execution.
- Manage workstreams and closing processes.
- Coordinate with specialists and client teams throughout transactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney 3rd–7th Year with:
- 3–7 years of relevant M&A experience.
- Strong transaction drafting and execution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deal workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000–$420,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
