About This Role

Working in a pharmacist-owned store, the Merchandiser helps provide health, beauty, and convenience services to the community, always prioritizing the customer. This role involves organizing products, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize products from the backroom and follow backroom inventory management processes
• Use the handheld terminal and MMS to perform daily tasks
• Manage liquidation strategy and product returns according to guidelines
• Act as an expert in designated areas of product inventory, product placement, and expiry dates
• Maintain store standards regarding image and in-store trends
• Ensure product displays are consumer-focused and "accessible"
• Receive merchandise in accordance with receiving policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom in accordance with backroom organization principles
• Ensure appropriate documentation is completed regarding the receipt and return of merchandise
• Assist the store manager and assistant manager in maintaining quality and standards
• Present a clean image to customers, in accordance with the uniform policy and dress code
• Take the initiative to greet and assist customers in the aisles
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to all store standards
• Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as needed

• Accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders (if applicable to cash register responsibilities)

Important Details

• Schedule: flexible shifts, which may include night and weekend shifts
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50lb, ability to climb a ladder
