Join our dynamic team as a Merchandiser, Assembler, and Floor Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our retail environment is engaging, organized, and customer-friendly. This energetic position involves assembling products, managing inventory, setting up displays, and providing exceptional customer service across various departments including propane, paint, keys, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. You will be a key contributor to creating an inviting shopping experience while supporting store operations through merchandising, stock management, and product assembly. Duties
- Assemble and install products such as propane tanks, paint supplies, keys, and POS equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Implement planograms and visual merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and enhance store aesthetics.
- Manage inventory control through stock replenishment, stock rotation, and accurate inventory tracking using mobile devices and POS systems.
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to foster positive shopping experiences.
- Operate material handling equipment safely for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; utilize ladders for high shelving or display setup.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing regular cleaning duties and ensuring aisles are clear of hazards.
- Support store management with training & development initiatives and contribute to remodeling or interior design projects when needed.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in retail or merchandising environments with strong leadership capabilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual designs and marketing materials.
- Knowledge of schematics, interior design principles, remodeling processes, and visual design techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with store management systems including planogram implementation and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Skilled in retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, cash handling, and POS operations.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely; familiar with ladder use and heavy lifting protocols.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client communication and merchandising excellence.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing, sales tracking, and inventory counts.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
