About This Role
This part-time merchandiser role involves performing service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores, focusing on restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory. It suits a detail-oriented individual who can manage product displays and interact professionally with store staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a company-provided mobile device
- Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities using technology
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers
- Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores
- Provide additional support and work extended hours during the weeks leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
- Work on actual holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, which may include weekends
- Participate in department resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections
- Support other team members as needed in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
