- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and permits
- Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Ensures all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. This involves conducting regular safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, implementing safety procedures and training staff.
- Maintain the quality of HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting work by conducting regular inspections. This helps them ensure installations and repairs meet industry standards and specifications and troubleshoot any issues that occur.
- Oversees routine and preventive maintenance tasks and plumbing system and equipment repairs. They identify and resolve problems quickly to minimise downtime, and disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of all Plumbing/HVAC work, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports. This documentation is helpful for future reference, troubleshooting and compliance.
- Manage budgets and control costs. identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
- Maintains open lines of communication with team members, clients and management to ensure that projects run smoothly, and meet expectations. They also collaborate with other departments and contractors as needed.
