Mental Health Therapist – Evening Outpatient – Salt Lake City, UT
Salary $65,000–$75,000 annually (based on licensure and experience)
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to provide outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents and adults. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapy, supporting individuals with substance use and mental health challenges, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote long-term recovery and overall well-being.
The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts each week, with the opportunity to earn a work-from-home incentive through timely completion of documentation.
Job Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and complete clinical documentation.
Maintain accurate and timely client records.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other clinical team members to coordinate care.
Utilize trauma-informed care principles in all client interactions.
Maintain professional boundaries and ensure client confidentiality.
Participate in mandatory trainings, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Support clients in achieving recovery, improved mental health, and overall wellness.
Comply with all organizational policies, state regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications Current Utah licensure as one of the following:
CSWi
CSW
LCSW
ACMHC
CMHC
MFTi
AMFT
LMFT
Experience providing mental health therapy and behavioral health services preferred.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Understanding of trauma-informed care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Eligible to work in the United States.
