Role: Mental Health Therapist
Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for diverse clients and families.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy to support client healing and resilience.
- Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to promote stable functioning.
- Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
- Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and staff, for holistic care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
- Provisional license as per state regulation if required.
- Passion for mental health, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management and administrative skills.
