Mental Health Specialist

About This Role

This role supports and provides a high-quality experience to Dialogue members, helping them improve their well-being. The specialist assesses needs, offers support, and navigates members to appropriate resources, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs and requests of members on the platform
• Accompany members in their health care journey in collaboration with other professionals
• Offer support to members to achieve objectives using a motivational interviewing approach
• Ensure patient navigation to other resources complementary to services
• Participate in and develop the database of community/public resources in Canada and pamphlets on mental health
• Be responsible for patient safety in a member-facing role

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a mental health or human relations field
• 2+ years of intervention experience as a social worker or other related experience, comfortable with short-term interventions and mental health issues
• Availability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week (up to 32 hours) during the day, evening (up to 8 pm), and weekends
• Very good knowledge of community and institutional resources
• Desire to work in an environment that encourages autonomy, professionalism, and versatility

Important Details

• Schedule: minimum of 8 hours per week (up to 32 hours) during the day, evening (up to 8 pm), and weekends
• Work format: hybrid (3 days/week in Montreal or Toronto offices) or remote (for remote roles)
• Work abroad: up to 4 weeks/year
