Member Support Specialist (Administrative Assistant)

About This Role

This Member Support Specialist role, also functioning as an Administrative Assistant, serves as a patient ambassador within the office, focusing on human connection and service. The role involves removing barriers to care to ensure an exceptional in-office patient experience, maintaining the office lobby's appearance, and acting as the first point of contact for patient feedback and support requests from management or providers. It suits a strong team player with innovative problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Use impeccable C-I-CARE in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, same-day schedule management, appropriate follow-up scheduling, strong knowledge of billing and insurance, monitoring patient feedback, and assisting with outreach as necessary
• Perform all front-of-house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork tasks, prepping tests, and tasking to service level expectations
• Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in team problem-solving, and supporting in-office providers with ad hoc asks
• Master the technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and the Electronic Medical Record System 1 Life, to interact with team members and patients and complete daily work
• Perform opening and closing duties/daily office upkeep as required, including maintaining the look and feel of both patient and employee-facing spaces, restocking supplies, and organization

Requirements
