About the role
Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing STAT and routine complex laboratory tests on biological specimens using manual methods and automated analyzers.
Key Duties: Report accurate patient results promptly, collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate testing and interpret results, and support laboratory operations to optimize testing capabilities.
Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related health field, with completion of an accredited training program. Experience in a fast-paced environment, good communication skills, and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are preferred.
Skills & Requirements: Ability to produce accurate results under time constraints, distinguish colors, work with machinery and clinical instrumentation, and tolerate exposure to chemicals, pathogens, and patient contact. Must have or obtain relevant state licensure and certification; ASCP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Additional Info: This is a full-time, nonexempt position with benefits, including competitive pay, and requires working rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
