This Medical Scribe opportunity is at Granite Hills Hospital, a 120-bed behavioral health facility in West Allis, WI. The role involves providing real-time documentation support to physicians and other healthcare providers by accurately recording patient encounters, histories, exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time documentation support to physicians and other healthcare providers
- Accurately record patient encounters, histories, exam findings, assessments, and treatment plans
- Enter information into the electronic health record
- Prepare charts
- Track test results
- Assist with clinical workflow to improve efficiency and patient care
Requirements
- High School Degree
- 1 year experience, 1-3 years preferred
- Strong medical terminology knowledge
- Excellent typing and listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
