Job Summary:
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Reviewer to support its Medical Affairs Immunology team. This role is responsible for the medical review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with medical strategy. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in immunology, medical review processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical oversight for the scientific review and approval of promotional and medical materials in compliance with corporate standards and applicable regulations
• Evaluate promotional and non-promotional content to ensure medical accuracy, scientific integrity, and balanced communication
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs leaders to ensure materials align with therapeutic area strategy and business objectives
• Provide medical and scientific expertise to commercial and cross-functional teams
• Support the development and validation of promotional claims and scientific content
• Serve as a medical resource for stakeholders across functional areas
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical data, treatment guidelines, and therapeutic area developments
• Partner with internal teams to ensure medical information is appropriately incorporated into organizational resources
• Support review workflows and approval processes using established content management systems
Required Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy, Medical Doctor, Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences discipline
• Extensive experience in medical review within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
• Strong experience supporting Immunology programs
• Experience in Rheumatology is highly preferred
• Experience reviewing promotional and medical materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of Medical Affairs functions and medical review governance processes
• Experience utilizing Veeva PromoMats or similar medical review platforms
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple review priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting Rheumatology product portfolios
• Prior experience working within large pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations
• Familiarity with promotional review committees and material approval processes
• Experience collaborating with commercial, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs teams
• Advanced knowledge of industry regulations governing promotional and medical materials
