Medical Receptionist

About This Role

Working in a state-of-the-art medical practice, the Medical Receptionist manages patient appointments, handles administrative tasks, and ensures a smooth front desk operation. This role suits a professional, organized, and energetic individual with a passion for patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments for physicians and practitioners
• Process accounts receivable and follow up on third-party payments
• Handle general office administration, including payroll, scheduling, and reporting
• Maintain an organized and efficient front desk and office environment
• Assist with promotional programs and manage supply orders
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• IM Certification
• Minimum 3 years of secretarial/administrative experience
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suites)
• Typing speed of 30 WPM
• Proficiency in 10-key by touch
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently
• Medical Office Administration (MOA) experience: 2 years
• Medical Office Administration (MOA) certification

Nice to have:

• Experience with medical software (e.g., Oscar)
