About the role
Our client is looking for a team of Medical Education Writers to develop high-quality, scientifically accurate, and engaging content across oncology and immunology therapeutic areas.
This role is open to candidates at all levels (junior through senior), with responsibilities and autonomy tailored to experience.
Rate is up to $60 per hour, CAD (dependent on level).
This is remote, and it is 12+ months, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, interpret, and synthesize complex clinical and scientific data in oncology and immunology
- Write and edit a wide range of medical education materials, including: Educational deliverables and training modules, Webinar scripts and supporting materials, Detail aids and sales aids, Presentation decks and speaker materials
- Translate clinical evidence into clear, compliant, and audience-appropriate messaging for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory, commercial, and creative teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and clients, revising content as needed
- Ensure all materials meet regulatory, legal, and compliance standards (FDA).
Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc) in life sciences, immunology, oncology, or related field; Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience considered
- Experience in medical writing, scientific communications, or healthcare marketing (level-dependent)
- Veeva Vault PromoMats / Vault ProMotion experience preferred
- Familiarity with MLR processes
- Strong understanding of clinical research, data interpretation, and evidence-based medicine
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards for medical communications is a plus
