Medical (DVM) Director – Abilene, TX
A progressive mixed-animal practice in Cisco, Texas is seeking a Medical Director to lead a dedicated clinical team and guide the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced veterinarian ready to combine hands-on medicine with leadership and ownership potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and ensure high standards of patient care
- Mentor and develop veterinary and support team members
- Oversee medical protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
- Foster client trust through strong communication and education
- Collaborate with leadership to support hospital growth and community engagement
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
- Active or eligible Texas veterinary license
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with mixed-animal or companion-animal medicine preferred
