Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is recruiting multiple remote Medical Coders to support the VA Office of Veterans Community Care. Responsibilities
- Review and validate medical coding sets.
- Translate diagnoses, procedures, and services into standardized codes.
- Ensure compliance with VA coding policies and billing requirements.
- Utilize ICD, CPT, HCPCS, and other VHA-approved coding systems.
- Stay current on coding updates and CCN Next Gen-specific coding requirements.
- Perform coding quality assurance, audits, and discrepancy corrections.
- Prepare coding reports and participate in coding-related meetings.
Qualifications
- Certificate Program required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience required
- Must posses one of the following:
- AHIMA or AAPC Apprentice/Associate Certification
- AHIMA or AAPC Mastery-Level Certification
- AHIMA or ACDIS Clinical Documentation Improvement Certification
- Strong understanding of VHA coding systems and code sets
- No sponsorship available
