This night-shift post on the cardiac ward pairs patient care with mentoring new nurses. This role provides individualized medical care to assigned patients in person, electronically, and via telephone under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. The Medical Assistant assists in delivering healthcare services to patients of various backgrounds and ages, maintaining positive relationships with patients and their families. This role works effectively with fellow employees to ensure the efficient flow of patients throughout their visit, providing support to them and to the attending physician. The Medical Assistant communicates via phone to ensure patient needs are met timely and accurately, and accesses company data systems to document pertinent medical information.
