Media Sales Representative

About This Role

This outside sales opportunity is for individuals who are passionate about their community and eager to build genuine relationships within it. The role involves consulting with local business owners to help them enhance their visibility within their neighborhoods, designing comprehensive marketing strategies that include magazine placements and digital ads, and scaling a sustainable book of business. It is an independent contractor position with uncapped, cumulative income potential, supported by structured training and daily coaching.

Responsibilities

• Consult with local business owners to help them solve the problem of being known by households closest to them
• Design each client’s full answer, including their place in the neighborhood’s magazine, digital ads, and online presence
• Use training and a proven system to build a book of business that provides long-term income

Requirements

• Sales ability, or the drive to build it
• Track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing is helpful (outside sales, D2D, real estate, and insurance backgrounds do well)
• No sales background required if you have experience serving the public (retail, hospitality, education, healthcare)
• Motivation and consistency
• Own transportation, phone, laptop, and reliable internet
• Genuine interest in building and nurturing local business relationships
• Room to build, making this a primary professional focus during the build phase
