About This Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand visibility through targeted media placements and data-driven decision-making. The Media Buyer will join the digital marketing team, bringing a strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, data analytics, and strategic purchasing to optimize campaign performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing objectives and target audiences
- Manage the purchasing of advertising space across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Nielsen media measurement tools
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools to assess effectiveness and optimize spend for maximum ROI
- Negotiate with media vendors to secure the best rates and placements while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency and campaign alignment with overall branding efforts
- Analyze market trends and audience insights to refine targeting strategies continuously
- Maintain detailed records of media buys, budgets, and performance metrics for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on media buying or advertising procurement
- Strong knowledge of TV and print advertising and digital analytics platforms
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms with media vendors
- Proficiency in budgeting, campaign planning, and performance analysis
- Familiarity with audience targeting techniques and data-driven marketing strategies
- Ability to interpret analytics reports and adjust campaigns accordingly for optimal results
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience will be considered
- At least 3 years experience of TV advertising
- 3 years of media buying experience (required)
