Lead Caregiver Role The Lead Caregiver is a frontline leader responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care and supporting the caregiving team.
Key duties include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), coaching caregivers on service standards, reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident changes, and communicating concerns promptly.
They support onboarding and mentoring new team members, promote safety and compliance, and ensure smooth shift transitions.
Ideal candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications, along with strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.
