About the role
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 12hr Night Shift – 36 hours a week – 7pm-7am
Job Description:
- Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall patient condition.
- Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other prescribed treatments
Experience:
- Minimum Years of Experience required: 18 months Med/Tele RN
Skillsets:
- EMR: Epic, IV Pump: Alaris, Med dispensing: Omnicell, Monitors: Phillips
Education:
- Associate’s degree with an Active RN licence
Additional Qualifications:
Licenses: RN
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
