Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MedSurg / PCU Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, monitoring, and caring for patients in the medical-surgical and progressive care unit settings
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
- Responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or progressive care nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
