About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer 4 (Virtual) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will support the development, documentation, and analysis of mechanical and fluid systems in a highly regulated aerospace environment. The engineer will validate system requirements, contribute to component design and modification, and help ensure integration across program activities. The position also involves partnering with suppliers and internal teams to support delivery of reliable, compliant system solutions.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $118,150 – $182,850 annually
Responsibilities
- Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems
- Conduct analyses to ensure systems meet specified requirements
- Contribute to the design and modification of system components
- Guide supplier activities to align with program objectives
- Provide training to team members on design documentation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field required
- 5-7 years of experience in mechanical and fluid system design
- Strong analytical skills for validating and verifying system requirements
- Experience in supplier development and program integration is essential
- Ability to secure a U.S. Security Clearance is mandatory
