Your Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and mechatronic products and technologies within the field of R&D Advanced Innovation
• Analyze requirements, evaluate technical specifications, and derive suitable concept solutions
• Develop and compare alternative solution concepts using Creo
• Design and calculate mechanical components and assemblies, and coordinate interfaces while taking functional, manufacturing, and quality-related requirements into account
• Work closely in cross-divisional, agile project teams and, where applicable, with external partners
• Support the development process from the initial idea through the concept phase to prototypes and their functional validation

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in design engineering; experience in electric drive systems and actuators is an advantage
• Experience in designing components such as shafts, bearings, gears, housings and in integrating electrical/electronic components
• Very good knowledge of relevant Schaeffler development tools such as Creo, Windchill, Wise and tolerance analysis
• Very good skills in creating technical drawings
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Structured, results-oriented working style and a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong interest in new products, manufacturing processes, and technologies
• Creativity, pragmatism, and flexibility
