Job Details:
Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) An established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead HVAC and mechanical system design for a diverse portfolio of commercial projects while mentoring junior engineers and working directly with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of mechanical building systems from concept through construction.
- Prepare engineering calculations, equipment selections, and construction documents.
- Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review drawings for quality, code compliance, and constructability.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and engineering resources.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems.
- Proficiency with Revit and mechanical engineering design software.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
