About This Role
Designing precision mechanical components, modules, and subsystems is the core of this engineering role. This position suits a mechanical engineer with experience in design, manufacturing methods, and multidisciplinary systems.
Responsibilities
- Drive product requirements definition and specification
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical solutions
- Support project cost estimation and scheduling activities
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs, including detailed drawings using 3D CAD tools (Creo/ProE)
- Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and apply GD&T methodologies
- Conduct and support engineering analyses, including thermal, vibration, fluid, and FEA simulations (advantage)
- Lead and participate in design reviews throughout the development process
- Procure prototype parts and support vendor interactions
- Assemble, integrate, and test prototypes and subsystems
- Support system integration, verification, and validation activities
- Develop assembly and test procedures
- Release engineering documentation and transfer designs to manufacturing
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design
- Experience with various manufacturing and fabrication methods, motion system design, and DFX principles
- Experience working on multidisciplinary systems
- Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
