As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in constructing complex industrial machinery, ensuring every component is integrated with precision. You will utilize your technical expertise to build high-performance equipment, directly impacting the efficiency and reliability of our production systems.
Responsibilities
- Construct large-scale commercial packaging machinery by installing subassemblies and individual components into main frames.
- Execute precise wiring of electrical systems and integrate pneumatic parts to ensure seamless machine functionality.
- Perform comprehensive testing protocols on mechanical and electrical assemblies to verify operational integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly challenges and optimize build processes.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the assembly lifecycle to meet rigorous performance benchmarks.
- Document assembly progress and testing results to ensure full compliance with technical specifications.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for precision mechanical assembly.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established operational procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related technical field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in capital equipment assembly or industrial maintenance.
- National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver level or higher).
- Experience working with complex pneumatic and electrical control systems.
