About the role
Role Overview: This position involves independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking meat products to support store profitability and customer satisfaction. It requires adherence to safety, food safety, and guest experience standards while collaborating with team members and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce meat products according to production plans
- Package, label, and merchandise meat products following merchandising expectations
- Stock backroom with meat products, rotate and date cases/buckets
- Communicate supply needs to the Meat Manager
- Assist in achieving store growth through teamwork
- Follow safety, PPE, food safety, and cleaning protocols
- Support guest experience guidelines and perform tasks in other departments as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of retail or related experience preferred
- Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented and able to interpret documents
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and twisting. The work environment involves varied temperatures and possible exposure to outside weather conditions.
