About This Role
Working with a great team, the Material Handler plays a key role in keeping products moving efficiently and safely through the operation. This active, hands-on role is in a clean, climate-controlled facility and is at the heart of the logistics process.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming materials
- Pick and prepare orders for both internal teams and external customers
- Maintain accurate inventory and keep materials organized and easy to locate
- Package goods and prepare them for shipment
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and other vehicles
- Secure shipments to ensure safe and timely delivery
- Support special projects and deadlines to keep shipments on schedule

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable using computers and inventory systems
- Strong focus on safety and quality

Important Details
- Physical requirements: 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures

- The extraction, compression, processing, manufacturing, handling, packaging, storage, disposal, treatment or transport of potentially volatile, flammable, combustible materials, elements, chemicals or any other highly regulated component
- Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
