About This Role
This role is for a Master or Technician in maintenance, focusing on track construction and civil engineering for the DB InfraGO AG in Stuttgart. You will contribute your ideas to projects, supporting the modernization and maintenance of the rail network and infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and professional execution of maintenance orders in track construction, including inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ensure that infrastructure facilities in track construction are available as required to enable safe, punctual, and economical railway operations
- Participate in the technical leadership of your team, qualify employees, supervise apprentices, and ensure the safety of your colleagues in their daily work
- Your work begins and ends at your central base, with all necessary materials, modern equipment, measuring instruments, and vehicles provided
- Participate in technical on-call duty after successful training
Requirements
- Training as a Master in track construction or civil engineering, or comparable qualification from the metal or construction industry
- Ideally, extensive knowledge and operational experience in maintenance, and experience with Office 365 and SAP R/3 Netz
- Willingness to participate in comprehensive internal qualifications to acquire specialized railway knowledge
- Goal-oriented work ethic, a high degree of responsibility, willingness to learn, and teamwork skills
- Willingness for occasional weekend and night work, participation in on-call duty, and a valid class B driving license
