About This Role
This Master Plumber position is for a skilled individual experienced in boiler and water heater installations. The role involves supervising plumbing technicians and performing installations, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential and commercial systems.
Responsibilities
- License and authorize installations, assume responsibility for supervision, and secure any permits for plumbing installations
- Supervise and direct plumbing technicians assigned to work under them
- Perform start-ups, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential-commercial boiler and water heater systems
- Ensure proper venting and safety compliance for boilers and water heaters
- Maintain and install pressurized pipes used for water tanks, boilers, and furnaces, and monitor these pressurized systems
- Install and commission booster pumps to maintain adequate water pressure throughout the building
- Read blueprints, follow specifications, and work with a variety of tools and materials
