Master Plumber

About This Role

The Master Plumber will oversee and execute a variety of plumbing tasks in a commercial setting, including installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, gas lines, and HVAC piping
• Diagnose and repair issues in plumbing systems such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning components
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Obtain necessary permits and complete inspections as required
• Select and procure appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for projects
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper functioning of tools and machinery
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to determine project requirements and timelines
• Provide estimates and detailed reports on plumbing issues and solutions
• Analyze complex plumbing problems and implement effective solutions

Requirements

• Valid Master Plumber License
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship completion preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing, with a proven record of leadership
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of local, state, and national plumbing codes
• Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and software
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, walk, stand
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

• Schedule: Frequent exposure to construction sites, varying weather conditions, and potentially hazardous materials
