Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Master Planner located in BATAM.

The Master Planner is responsible for translating customer demand into executable production plans and maintaining the master production schedule by balancing customer orders, material availability, manufacturing capacity, and inventory strategies.

The Master Planner proactively identifies potential risks related to supply, capacity, and delivery commitments and provides timely early warning and mitigation plans.

This role serves as a key interface among Operations, Materials Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Warehouse, and Production teams to balance customer requirements, production capacity, inventory levels, and operational efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the master plan based on customer demand and business priorities.
  • Review sales orders requirements and provide commit dates and delivery feasibility assessments. Coordinate actions required to support customer commitments.
  • Coordinate production plan adjustments in response to demand changes, material shortages, engineering changes, and capacity constraints.
  • Evaluate mid and long terms material readiness in collaboration with Material Planners.
  • Provide timely early warning to stakeholders when production or delivery commitments are at risk. Lead mitigation planning and recovery actions.
  • Balance demand and supply to maximize customer delivery performance and factory utilization.
  • Support implementation of new products (NPI), engineering changes, and demand transitions.
  • Continuously improve and develop processes which are related to optimizing planning efficiency and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing Operations or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, LN, Kinaxis, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles.
  • Knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and cross functions collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
