About This Role
This Master Electrician role involves installing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial and residential electrical wiring and components, with a focus on providing quality service and ensuring compliance with all codes. It suits a highly experienced electrician who is committed to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, and repair any commercial and residential electrical wiring and components (Generac Generator Install Experience preferred)
- Complete all paperwork according to company procedure and submit daily
- Diagnose and submit part orders for customers, only with approval
- Provide all customers with consistent, quality service in accordance with company procedure
- Complete job assignments according to plans and in compliance with all codes and standards
- Positively promote the company's products and services, develop equipment leads, and sell service contracts
- Assist other team members to achieve maximum success, safety, and efficiency
- Maintain required truck inventory as audited
- Maintain a neat appearance in proper, clean uniform always, as well as your work vehicle
- Perform all duties in a safe manner ensuring incident-free operations
- Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the General Manager and office
- Maintain all certified testing equipment in proper working order and report any deficiencies
Requirements
- Master Electrician License
- 8+ years experience in commercial or residential installation and service
- Ability to pull permits
- Proficient at reading and understanding schematics and blueprints
- Able to be on the on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver's license

- Furnish own hand tools
- Able to lift, pull, and/or push 50 pounds
- Able to climb ladders and work off scaffolding
- Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time
