Master Electrician

About This Role

This Master Electrician role involves leading or supporting the integration of electrical systems, ensuring all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The position requires interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring other electricians, making it suitable for a skilled professional passionate about electrical system design and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the integration of electrical systems
• Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with the latest edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide system integration and ensure code compliance
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and maintenance teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Train and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices on best practices, safety procedures, and code updates
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions on system integration, NEC changes, and emerging technologies
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School diploma preferred or equivalent Technical School training or equivalent experience
• Licensed Master Electrician required
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in real-world scenarios
• Proven experience in electrical system integration, including design, installation, and commissioning
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to travel to other locations and work beyond standard hours is essential
• Depth perception, ability to adjust focus, close vision, and color vision
