About This Role
This Master Electrician role is for a highly skilled and customer-focused professional to join a growing team. The position involves delivering quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service for residential and light commercial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems
- Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions for customers
- Lead and mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians as needed
- Provide accurate estimates and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and new installations
- Install and service panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, EV chargers, generators, and other electrical equipment
- Maintain detailed job documentation and service records
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work
- Participate in company and manufacturer training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current Master Electrician license required
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations
- Experience with residential service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina required for electrical installation and repair work
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
