About This Role
This role is for a massage therapist who wants to be part of a supportive, woman-owned small business that values talent and growth. The position focuses on providing therapeutic massage through various modalities in an inspiring and calming environment.
Responsibilities
- Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy
- Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
- Maintain service room to standards; all supplies are provided
- Consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy that possess the right qualities, as well as demonstrate innate talent for, and understanding of, therapeutic massage
Requirements
- Desire to be part of a team that has an infectious passion for health and wellness
- License/certification required in California; must present a license/certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities
- Minimum of 2 shifts per week (availability for at least one PM + one weekend shift; Saturday or Sunday)
- Be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length
- Require manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
