This role involves delivering exceptional massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for a diverse clientele. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, sports, and orthopedic
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, treatment goals, and client care plan
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client responses, adhering to confidentiality standards
- Stay informed about the latest massage therapy practices and integrate new techniques such as pain management strategies or advanced physiology knowledge into treatments
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining equipment in excellent condition
- Promote customer service excellence by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with a strong background in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively and address specific pain points or musculoskeletal issues
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health for better client communication
- CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions
- Demonstrated ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly for optimal outcomes
