Responsibilities

• Direct the creation and execution of marketing programs across North America
• Partner with external agencies to enhance brand visibility and maximize strategic coverage
• Ensure a consistent and compelling brand image across all regions by collaborating with global and regional marketing leaders
• Review and approve global marketing assets to uphold quality and alignment with brand standards
• Ensure consistency of high-quality content across all channels—digital, social, media, and sales collateral
• Direct the development of integrated marketing plans that promote products, technologies, and services
• Lead retail and recruiting marketing strategies aligned with broader business goals
• Collaborate with Human Resources and leadership to support recruiting and retention through targeted recruiting marketing strategies
• Oversee and continuously improve project workflows within the department’s project management system
• Lead planning and execution of key corporate initiatives
• Manage key marketing budget accounts with a focus on efficiency and ROI
• Champion ongoing process improvements to enhance team performance and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Media Relations, along with at least 8 years of related experience
• Frequent travel 6-20% (some global travel)
• Valid Passport

Nice to have:

• Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
• Five years’ experience in the Material Handling or a similar capital equipment industry
• Ten years managing people and five years managing a Marketing Communications department
• Experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high-performance teams while holding employees accountable
• Strong leadership skills and history of demonstrated successes
• Excellent communicator with ability to influence across all functional areas
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues
