About the role
Job Summary:
We're happy to be hiring a detail-driven Marketing & CRM Assistant to take hold of our B2B contact database and back our email marketing and website operations. The role pairs research-heavy data enrichment with hands-on marketing execution — clearing up and completing our retailer CRM, auditing and sharpening our email automation flows, and helping keep our website accurate and search-friendly. The right person is meticulous, resourceful, and at ease working on their own across tasks where accuracy counts for more than speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and enrich our B2B partner database by visiting company websites and completing missing fields such as website URL, email address, phone number, physical location, and product range
- Hold and arrange the CRM spreadsheet so records stay clean, consistent, and current
- Put AI tools to work intelligently to speed research along while checking the accuracy of every entry
- Audit our existing email automation sequences end to end, checking that every link works and the content is correct
- Test email templates for proper display on both mobile and desktop, and put right formatting issues
- Back ongoing improvements to email flows, segmentation, and subscriber journeys
- Put on-page SEO improvements in place on our website, covering metadata, image optimization, and content details
- Upload and format new product content, seeing that images are correctly sized and consistently presented
- Add and look after customer reviews on product pages to strengthen credibility and search visibility
- Build clean, professional PDF presentations for new product launches
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven background in data research and database or CRM enrichment work
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, covering work with large lists
- Hands-on time with an email marketing platform such as Omnisend, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar
- Working knowledge of WordPress, covering product/content updates and basic on-page SEO
- At ease using AI tools to assist research while checking results on your own
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Dependable, precise, and able to work on your own with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Skills:
- Time spent with Omnisend specifically
- Grounding in B2B lead research, list building, or retailer/distributor databases
- Basic design skills for building PDF presentations or sales one-pagers (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Familiarity with WooCommerce or other WordPress e-commerce setups
- Grasp of email deliverability and automation funnel best practices
- Capacity to carry several projects at once and prioritize on your own
