Coordinator, Marketing
Pay Rate: 25.00 per hour
Onsite in Culver City, CA
12 month contract to start.
Responsibilities
Support Global Brand Marketing team on the studio’s new releases including:
Key Marketing Operations Support | 70%
Maintain and distribute a timeline of critical home entertainment marketing dates.
Manage key marketing presentations by assisting in the creation of product slides and working with Brand leads to make sure presentations are up to date (including but not limited to filmmaker, sales and internal slate presentations).
Attend cross-functional work team meetings and select 3 rd party calls (e.g. Saban, Crunchyroll, etc) in support role and take notes to distribute information to wider marketing teams (e.g. Media, PR, Creative, Shopper Marketing).
Draft and distribute international title kick off and marketing update emails, working with Brand lead.
Create and maintain title metadata, liaising with Brand leads, legal and programming teams.
Update marketing asset decks for key new release titles (e.g. Spider-Man) and occasionally create and manage asset decks for select 3rd party, DTV and limited theatrical releases (e.g. The Breadwinner, Chainsaw Man).
Track all promotional partner updates by attending internal promotions meetings to take notes and distribute information to wider Brand team.
Coordinate monthly marketing sales meeting with ad hoc opportunities to present title overviews on behalf of Brand lead.
Select and/or review promotional clips (e.g. extended previews, film clips) and route for approval.
Assist with logistical marketing operations functions, in conjunction with applicable internal and external partners (including but not limited to trailering, title budget timelines, physical and digital product orders, liaising with trade publication partners, territory localization assets).
Work with cross-functional teams to create initial and finalized title budgets for Brand lead review.
Read scripts, screen films & participate in content brainstorms.
Promotions Management & Support | 10%
In tandem with Brand lead, work with promotional partners to create or extend promotional campaigns, coordinating with legal team and helping clear associated creative assets (e.g. social & digital assets, social copy, etc).
Work with Sony Electronics team to provide marketing materials for in-store, online, on-device marketing initiatives, touching in with Brand lead on requested titles.
Administrative & Other Support | 20%
Assist Brand team with streamlining processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency (e.g. including but not limited to content localization, AI integration into processes, etc).
Special ad hoc Brand Marketing projects and admin support for the SVP Global Marketing when needed (including but not limited to screenings set up and calendar management)
Managing purchase order requests and vendor onboarding.
Qualifications
BA degree preferred
2+ years experience in Marketing, preferably in a studio or streaming environment
Proficient in designing and creating presentations in PowerPoint and related applications
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, meeting specific deadlines
Excellent project management skills, with great attention to detail
Ability to streamline information from multiple sources into unified, key documents
Highly motived self-starter who is proactive and a team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel (knowledge of formulas is a plus)
Internet savvy and proficient in online research
Can work independently to problem solve
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Passion to learn new things outside day-to-day responsibilities
