The Marketing Consultant plays a crucial role in enhancing marketing strategies and capabilities within Rakuten's CMO Office. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their marketing skills across various Rakuten services while contributing to the company's growth and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Clarify important marketing issues for Rakuten Group and develop strategies and plans for marketing actions.
- Implement marketing actions in collaboration with other departments and marketing teams of major Rakuten services.
- Engage in marketing activities from strategy planning to execution for services such as Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Card, and Rakuten Mobile.
- Support and learn necessary skills in data analysis with the help of specialists if lacking experience.
Requirements
- University graduate or higher.
- More than 2 years of working experience.
- More than 2 years of experience in Sales, IT/business consulting, or marketing.
Nice to have:
- Sales experience in business planning, solutions, or consultation.
- Experience in industries where Rakuten provides services, such as e-commerce, advertising, or fintech.
- Experience as a project member, with project leadership preferred.
- Digital marketing experience, including marketing research and data analysis.
- Experience in negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Ability to visualize goals with numbers and manage the PDCA cycle to achieve them.
- Flexibility to adapt to environmental changes.
