Job Description
HKGTA is seeking a creative, commercially minded and hands-on Marketing Communications Manager to strengthen how we tell our story across social media, branding, website and patron communications.
This is an opportunity to shape engaging, premium communications for one of Hong Kong’s leading sporting destinations — supporting Academy events, experiences, dining, retail, admissions and patron engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, execution and ongoing management of HKGTA’s social-media channels, ensuring content is timely, engaging and aligned with the Academy’s brand.
- Review, update and maintain website content to ensure it is accurate, compelling and commercially relevant.
- Develop high-quality marketing content across campaigns, eDMs, event materials, brochures, press releases, menus and other patron-facing communications.
- Protect brand consistency across all visual and written communications.
- Create and manage content calendars for key seasonal campaigns, programmes, events and Academy moments.
- Work closely with internal teams, agencies, suppliers, photographers and external partners to deliver campaigns and activations effectively.
- Monitor social-media, website and campaign performance, identifying practical opportunities to improve engagement and results.
- Support major Academy events and on-site activations.
What You Should Have
- At least 6 years’ experience in marketing communications, branding, digital marketing or content management; experience in hospitality, luxury service, lifestyle or private membership environments is an advantage.
- Strong social-media, branding and website-management experience, with the ability to move from planning through to hands-on execution.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Canva; basic video-editing capability is highly desirable.
- A strong eye for visual quality, brand consistency and detail.
- Collaborative, dynamic and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
